Esports represents one of the fastest growing recreational activities on college campuses. The webinar presents results from recent research focused on the lifestyle and wellbeing of esports participants at the collegiate level, aiming at providing valuable information to help guide better practices for campus recreation administrators.
Learning Outcomes
1. Understand the lifestyle behaviors (i.e., health status, physical activity, diet/nutrition, sleep, and sedentary behavior) of collegiate recreational esports participants.
2. Facilitate the development of more inclusive esports programs.
Continuing Education Credits
Participants who complete this program will be eligible for Continuing Education (CE) credits in either the Core Student Affairs Educator Certification (CSAEd™) or Certified Student Affairs Educator-Campus Recreation (CSAEd-CR™).
NIRSA has been approved by the Higher Education Consortium for Student Affairs Certification to provide CE credit for Certified Student Affairs Educators (CSAEd™). NIRSA is solely responsible for all aspects of this program.
