02/18/2026 at 9:00 AM (PST)  |  60 minutes This roundtable on Employee Recognition is designed to explore recognition programs to help strengthen belonging, motivation, and appreciation among student staff in campus recreation. We'll discuss ideas and strategies for celebrating student contributions in meaningful ways, even within large departments where it can be challenging to make everyone feel seen and valued. The idea for this session came from feedback during the last Ideas in Motion Roundtable led by this committee, where participants expressed interest in deeper conversations around recognition. Hosted by the NIRSA Student Development Committee, this session is designed for any staff member looking to enhance or develop an employee recognition program within their department.
