Ready to take your career to the next level? The Certified Student Affairs Educator (CSAEd™) credential helps you formally validate your knowledge, intentionally grow your professional skill set, and advance your career with confidence.
This fall, ACUHO-I, ACUI, and NIRSA are joining forces to offer a virtual certification prep program tailored to support members pursuing the Core CSAEd™ certification and the following specialty areas:
- Campus Housing and Residential Life (HRL)
- College Unions (CU)
- Campus Recreation (CR)
Who Should Attend?
This prep program is ideal for:
- Professionals working full-time in student affairs or student services roles in higher education
- Individuals with either a graduate degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s/associate’s degree and 4 years of qualifying experience
- Those seeking to strengthen their understanding of the CSAEd™ content areas before applying for certification
- Anyone preparing to apply for the core certification and a related specialty area
Whether you're just getting started or well on your way, this is your opportunity to engage with content experts, connect with peers, and prepare with purpose.

Virtual Prep Series Overview
Live sessions begin September 8, 2025, and run through December 15, 2025
Mondays | 3:30pm – 5:00pm Eastern/12:30pm-2:00pm Pacific
Each session will focus on each of the eight CSAEd™ exam domains, featuring panels of expert practitioners from ACUHO-I, ACUI, and NIRSA.
Two bonus sessions (kickoff and wrap-up) will help frame your learning and tie everything together.
Free for members | $25 per session for nonmembers

Specialty Study Groups
In addition to the general sessions, you’ll have access to targeted study groups for your specialty area — Campus Housing & Residential Life, College Unions, or Campus Recreation — so you can dive deeper into role-specific knowledge with peers and experts who speak your language.
